Willow & Stone is a boutique studio in Ancoats, Manchester, offering massage, reflexology, facials, yoga and sound baths. The brief was to create a digital experience as restorative as the treatments themselves, moving beyond a generic service list towards a clear, trustworthy journey that guides time-poor professionals from landing to booking.

Design Approach
The visual direction trades clinical wellness clichés for a soft, grounded aesthetic, led by the headline "Come back to yourself." and calming treatment-room imagery.

  • Typography: Elegant serif headings for a premium, editorial feel, paired with clean sans-serif body text for easy reading.

  • Palette: Muted sage greens, warm creams and soft earthy tones that reflect the studio's natural, unhurried character.

  • Layout: Generous white space, rounded cards and subtle scroll animations that keep the pace slow and the focus on one action at a time.

Experience and Functionality
Built mobile-first, the site is structured around the "Book your session" journey. Every page leads to /book, and a sticky "Book now · from £14" button follows visitors on mobile. Six treatments each have their own detail page covering duration, price and what to expect. A simple three-step "How it works" section removes friction, while ratings and testimonials sit beside every call to action to build trust.

Supporting pages include About, Pricing, Blog, Reviews and Contact, all connected through a consistent navigation and footer with opening hours and location details.

The Result
The finished site works as a digital front door to the studio. It communicates calm from the first scroll, builds credibility through social proof, and makes booking possible in a few clicks.
