App Design
OneFootball - Redesign
I redesigned the OneFootball app to provide fans with a more immersive and intuitive way to follow matches, news, and their favourite clubs.
Year :
2025
Industry :
Entertainment
Client :
Project Duration :
2 weeks

Problem
The original design presented information in a dense, cluttered way, which made it difficult for users to quickly find match details, news, and personalised content. Fans wanted a more engaging and organised experience.

Goal / Success Metrics
Improve usability by simplifying the navigation structure.
Boost engagement with clearer presentation of live scores, fixtures, and top stories.
Strengthen personalisation through a more prominent profile and club-following system.
Maintain excitement and energy reflective of football culture.
Primary Goals
Simplified Navigation: Redesigned bottom tabs for easy access to Home, Matches, and TV.
Content Hierarchy: News and highlights displayed in card-based layouts with strong visuals.
Personalisation: Profile section redesigned to highlight user activity, followed clubs, and rewards.
Engagement: Match centre and live fixtures designed for quick updates with minimal friction.

Targeted User Persona
Name: Daniel, 24
Profile: A passionate football fan who follows the Premier League closely and checks live scores daily.
Pain Points: Frustrated by cluttered layouts and hard-to-find match updates.
Needs: A streamlined app that keeps him connected to matches, clubs, and football news in real time.
Summary
The redesign creates a fresher, more fan-centred experience, making it easier for users to stay updated on their favourite clubs and competitions. With clearer navigation and bold visuals, the app enhances engagement while keeping the energy of football at its core.
